ICAAMC Statement of intent on not hand touching rotating parts

The member companies of the International Compressed Air & Allied Machinery Committee are committed to the highest standards for the health and safety of their workers. ICAAMC has identified that there is a high risk for injury in touching rotating equipment (using hands or inappropriate manual aids) for polishing, finishing or other processes and are convinced that alternatives are always possible. All companies have resolved to educate their workers about the risks and to strive to find solutions, or adapt processes, which remove the hazard, such as mechanical aids, operation cut-offs, guards or other means.
